Airtightness is every bit as important. Stopping leaks around windows, doors, etc is massive, but of course mechanical ventilation may be needed to ensure fresh air gets into the house.

Wind farm in Co. Galway is completely shut down, no power being produced despite the fact that the wind farm can be put fully operational with the press of a button inside 5 minutes and has the capability to produce power for 50k homes.
I dunno 
Iād wager thereās a bit of that story missing.

The bones of it isā¦There was a landslide almost 2 decades back due to the development. Caused a lot of damage locally but continued to operate. Was closed recently as a result of investigation into the landslide.
Doesnāt make a lot of sense that after all the investment and the collateral damage that the ārewardā of clean energy right now and in future years wonāt be used.

Ya, some mess of a setup from the regulator. Also, thereās a guaranteed minimum price set for wind but no maximum price.

The gteed minimum price is 75 euro approx pkwhā¦ This is to allow the developers to access funding to construct the farms. Its trading almost 5 times that price atm 370 euro pkwh approxā¦ Seems mental alright that when committing base price we didnāt get a max priceā¦ Iād guess its to do with anti competitiveness laws
