Energy Crisis

you would be quite hopeful that in the next 5 years technology improves with things like this

not sure if carbon capture is a myth either but that might save us

I saw a thing that captured carbon, converted it into oxygen, provided shelter, prevented soil erosion, wildlife could live in it and was scientifically proven to increase the happiness of people who lived near it. It was called a tree. Maybe we should get more of them?

100%

Photosynthesis isnā€™t a myth mate.

This can all be solved by stopping deforestation and planting a few trees

Thereā€™s no money in that though

People are crying out for forestry licenses in Ireland and canā€™t get them.

Plant a few seeds on your windowsills though

The world is cutting down trees for agriculture

Should be easy enough fix, stop cutting down trees lads or you go to jail

yes, stop eating lamb & beef

I think the newer ones do have a max price

Anyway they can set a max price now and if they are sued just impose a windfall windmill tax

Theyā€™ll need to reword the 2m signs to say do not be more than 2m apart.

Yes indeed, pension funds looking to cover the west of the country in non native Sika, destroying communityā€™s and poisoning waterways and killing any wildlife.Crying out for forestry licences so they can plant Sika trees right up to @anon67715551 house.

Does it say how much they owe in fines or whoā€™s going to pay them?

The amounts? Itā€™s in there I think. Irish taxpayer, this ever pleasing, docile Irish taxpayer who else.

Of course,the tax payer.

A lad Iā€™d kicked with back in the day has 25 acres of the shitka spruce ready for felling since last year. Canā€™t get a license. On top of that our friends in the County Council want ā‚¬30k (thirty grand) up front to secure and preserve the quality of the road between the forestry and the Cloone / Ballinamore road. ā€œBalanceā€ of unused monies to be refunded  .

Heā€™s fairly bulling with the set-up but hereā€™s a lad who wouldnā€™t turn a sweet in his mouth for fear youā€™d see him. It gives me a certain buzz to ask him if thereā€™s any progress whenever Iā€™d run into him (yesterday evening)ā€¦.

Thereā€™s a malevolent streak in me at times, I think I picked it up hereā€¦.

What would that 25 acres of timber be worth?

How so?
