Why do you keep bringing that Colombia game up considering I have said many times before the game and since that that depended on their best player being available? When it was announced that Rodriguez wasn’t fit I immediately called it a very even game which was bang on. You expected England to win that game when in fact they only got through by lottery so I was right and you were wrong

That was a good england side tbf. Don’t think the country got behind yer boys though. Current side are the most limited in living memory. It was wide open for them and Croatia are no great shakes either. I feel they’ll be well bate on Sunday unfortunately

Course you’re not interested because you cant backtrack from the point. The luck, the injuries all of that is par for the course in a tournament. Simple fact they got to a semi, you didn’t think they would = overachievement
They overachieved in terms of where they ended up, they did not overachieve in terms of their performances or results. If you want to take getting to a semi final as overachieving without taking into account their opposition and luck, then you’re entitled to do so. Just as I’m entitled to say they didn’t overachieve based on their performances and results
