I’m nearly as happy we didn’t go home with the trophy. You’d be a bit sheepish going home with it after a drawn final (and semi final as well). I’d rather earn it the proper way. It’s only another 18 months to Qatar.
Just 16 months to the start of the tournament actually, 17 months to the final.

I get a bit of that here from time to time as an English man living in Eire but in fairness most people are grand. This forum would be a bit of an outlier with its anti-England (on certain things) outlook.
