United play Stoke on a Saturday in a 5.30 ko in September. I dont think the wet Tuesday night acid test will apply for De Gea in this one. United have won 6 out of 6 since Stoke got back in the Pl so know how to beat them.

If you check the stats , unlike most of the midlands, stoke is actually experiencing milder and drier winters.

I didn’t give it enough study last week and should have gone for someone other than Chelsea.
Still though, it’s a “lives” competition so I won’t be out if I lose.

N’Zogbia hooked today after a dismal display. Villa look like they are going to struggle this season. Pretty much at full strength today and they lack any sort of dangerman, apart from Agbonlahor. Bent is a good poacher but his all round game isn’t up to much. Defence is the one area they look relatively secure.

Blackburn missed two penalties today and Arteta has just put Everton ahead against them in the last minute…with a penalty.

Chelsea have been pretty poor today again. Terry looks like he’ll get exploited this season - I look forward to that.
