The controversy that has seen him vilified by the media concerns pederasty and not pedophilia. I realize both words begin with a p, so a moron like Sidney_Wankstain wouldn’t know the difference.

Pederasty is a homosexual relationship between an adult male and a teenage sexually active male. It may or may not be legal, based on the age of the teenager. In one of his rambling podcasts, Milo admitted he had a relationship as a 17 year old (so legal) with an older man. He went on to talk about sexuality in general and how relationships between teenagers and adult males in the homosexual community are not unusual. Whether he advocated for homosexual sex between adults and teenagers under the age of consent is debatable, he says no, but it was certainly open to that interpretation.

Pedophiles typically target children between the ages of zero to pre-puberty. Denying that adult homosexual men may be sexually attracted to homosexual teenage boys however is as stupid as denying that straight men may be attracted to teenage girls. Obviously many straight men are attracted to teenage girls and there are plenty examples to point to, some on this site.

I think most people would regard that as going too far, although some like @Sidney would undoubtedly defend it as people’s right to express themselves.

The sentencing laws in Ireland are way too lax for pedophiles who rape children (and for a lot of other crimes). I don’t think any normal person would argue with that.
