I’m bringing up Republicans for the simple fact that the Republican party is obsessed with this as an issue and they are trying to ram it into law.
And I’m explaining why they’re obsessed with it as an issue. It’s one more part of their insane culture war which they used to whip up anti-trans bigotry, anti-gay bigotry, misogynist bigotry, racist bigotry and whatever other type of bigotry you fancy.
It’s nothing to do with concern for women’s sport. Nothing. Zero.

Basically Sid, if the sport governing body are too cowardly to step in, it falls to government.
Ah yeah, the real problem in society is 15 year old trans girls who want to play sport. It would be cowardly of governments to allow them do so. They need to be put in their place and the “nutter” libs like me need to be owned.
Should a 15 year old be allowed compete in an under 12 race.
We separate athletes already for lots of reasons.
In the Paralympics athletes are separated on basis on degree of disability.
The fairest way to do it is abolish men’s sports or divisions and make them open divisions so they are not gender based. Anybody who wants can then compete and gender/sex not an issue.

Biological males should not be allowed to play contact sport or power based sport with biological females, both from a safety point of view, and a fairness point of view.
