Erling Braut Haaland

The opposite of Spurs who will do it against Man City and shit it against Villa and the like

If he scored a last gasp equaliser against Gillingham heā€™d go down in Manchester City folklore.

Heā€™s already doing untold in the first league in England. Breaking all sorts of records. I know you donā€™t watch much football but heā€™s scored 25 goals in 20 league games. Heā€™s already made a mockey of some illustrious names below:

Erling Haaland has 25 goals in his first 20 Premier League appearances ā€“ better than the best scoring Premier League seasons of Fernando Torres (24 in 33, 2007/08), Jamie Vardy (24 in 36, 2015/16), Emmanuel Adebayor (24 in 36, 2007/08), Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink (23 in 35, 2000/01 and 2001/02), Ian Wright (23 in 35, 1996/97), Frank Lampard (22 in 36, 2009/10), Sadio Mane (22 in 36, 2018/19), Teddy Sheringham (22 in 41, 1992/93), Dwight Yorke (20 in 32, 1999/2000), Dimitar Berbatov (20 in 32, 2010/11), Raheem Sterling (20 in 33, 2019/20), Michael Owen (19 in 29, 2001/02), Nicolas Anelka (19 in 37, 2008/09), Jermain Defoe (18 in 34, 2009/10) and Robbie Keane (16 in 36, 2005/06).

Iā€™m sure @Bandage or some of the other League of Scotland enthusiasts can firm up on the exact details here but there was a chap in Scotland back in the late 1990ā€™s, Marco Negri who scored about 30 league goals over the first half of a season and was breaking all kinds of goal scoring records. This is very reminiscent of that. A flat track bully filling his boots with hat-tricks in home matches against the likes of Wolverhampton Wanderers, Nottingham Forest and Crystal Palace.

Would you equate goals in Scotlandā€™s first division to goals in England?

I remember him well. He was no Michael Mols.
Thereā€™s only one Marco Negri
And when he scores he sees king billy

Went the song.
Ironic, because Iā€™m pretty sure it was him told to stop blessing himself before games by the rangers board.

Always kinda wondered how the likes of Arteta, Amoruso, Gattuso & Negri end up playing for Rangers and be comfortable knowing the history. Or maybe they didnā€™t have a clue before joining.

Iā€™d say answer B
Gattuso was the epitome of a Hun. In fairness so was Scott Brown (in a good way)
Rangers before they went out of existence were paying top dollar through fraud and the like

If the GAA launch an investigation into the non declaring of payment to managers then there wonā€™t be many clubs able to field next year

Weā€™ll fuckin walk it.

Shame poor old Davy Fitz never got a cut of the pie, and hence canā€™t service his debts.

Haaland is a phenomā€¦ The role heā€™s being asked to do - 6 yard box - is hardly on him. A lot of scutter here.

His movement and finishing is sublime.
