Simple facts pal. They pour money in âtheirâ team in cities they themselves wouldnât dream of living in. That money goes to pluck the best talent in the world to these English clubs and Irish players go further down the shitter. Contrast where GAA and rugby football fansâ money goes. The FAI have always been a more difficult position than people give them credit for as the fans donât give a fuck about Irish domestic association football. All they care about is the off chance that the ROI sneaks through and they can go on the piss and proclaim themselves the best fans in the world every four years.
