Euro 2016

You’d have to stay in Sarajevo definitely
trying to get from Zenica to Srajevo after the game would be tricky
Bosnia isnt a civilised place at all, i was there in 2003-2004 and they were using german DMs, now they use a convertible bosnian mark i think its called
when we arrived there ( on a bus from dubrovnik) we met a guy at the train station who rented us his appartment in the old olympic village that was used i think for the 84 winter olympics, i remember there was a Koran in the corner and we were woken by a mosque each morning
sarajevan women are utter crackers but will want nothing to do with ya really, they’re sort of muslim lite as in ferociously nationalistic like Albanians but really they use Islam like the serbs use orthodox christianaity as a mere identification.
its ok in the city center , the population is very mixed but outside there its incredibly sectarian, Banja Luka is the serb capital city, the further east you go towrds the serb border the more ethnically clensed the place is and its just serbs, everthing is in cyrllic, we stopped in Zvornik on the way to Belgrade, it was a fucking horrible place, what the serbs did in 1993-95 in cities like Gorazde and Prijedor where they lit a sectraian fuse and convinced the serb population that moslem/croat neighbours they had lived with for years were a threat to the state was insane, {utin is trying the same shite in Ukraine now but he didnt get to build concentartion camps
on the other side the bosnian croats and moslems hate each other also, they croats mascared a load of moslems in the croat moslem war in 1993… the croats somehow managed to come out of this looking like good guys but how Tudjman a modern day neo nazi never saw the hague, maybe it was because what the serbs were up to with concentartion camps that the world could only handle one evil at the time
the hatred in the place makes Israel west bank northern ireland look like a kindergarten, its a fucking madhouse,
There are some great books on it , Madness Visible by Janine di giovani, My war gone by i miss it so by Antony Loyd and The 10th circle of Hell which a terribly sad book by Rezak Hukanovic,
The funny thing was during the war various Mujahdin, and islamic jihad travelled from north africa and lebanon to help the bosnian moslems, they were so disgusted by their laid back attitude to islam and war that they all left as they claimed it wasnt a serious enough army…

do we consider these lads as quislings or should we support them in France?
what’s the attitude towards them up above on both sides of the community?

Depends where you come from, mate. If you’re from Down and pockets of North Antrim then you’ll probably support them.

Elsewhere, not a chance.

would Catholics support them from down/Antrim?
what about the prods in windsor, do they support the catholic players at all or just kind pf pretend they dont exist in the team?

Yes, they would get support from Castle Catholics in Down and pockets of Antrim.

The Windsor Prods would seemed to have accepted the Castle Catholics among their ranks.

i wore an irish jersey to israel / NI in nov 2013 when davis scored a cracker in a 1-1 draw , i was spat at on one occasion outside the ground but another few lads wanted a picture and were sound

it was an unwise act of attenton seeking similar to when i wore a Panathanaikos jersey to PAOK and Bnei Yehuda

They are a despicable lot.

they are
i must say, all jokes aside scotch fans were some of the soundest ive met, bunch of lads from aberdeen were bang on and very knowledgable of football, the whole self policing they do is admirable also , ie anyone seen in an old firm shirt gets a rake of abuse

Scotch fans let themselves down with their sex pest behaviour.

I’ve no idea if this is truth or blatant lies but I find it good reading all the same. Thanks mickee

Suck

er?

wonderfully mental scenes here as the Turks score in the last minute to qualify automatically
the chaos on the sideline when they played croatia in 2008 was brilliant as well, Bilic and Stimac stirring it up in the middle of it also

Bosnia

In a good position to end their 28 for qualification after winning 1-0 in Oslo.

“In honour of Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland qualifying for the same major tournament for the first time, the SDLP’s Declan Boyle has proposed that Belfast host a joint reception for the two sides in City Hall.” :grinning:

DUP Councillor Brian Kingston has taken on the Gregory Campbell role and seems up for a laugh and some high jinks:

“I welcome the success of four teams from the British Isles qualifying but it would be inappropriate to hold a joint reception for the Northern Ireland squad and a team from another country.”
