That corner in at the end was superb. It had that âavalancheâ vibe about it in that it reaches its destination quicker than the defenders expect immediately after the ball is struck. It doesnât matter how organised you are in defence, one flick off it and itâs in the net. Unless you have somebody on the post.
The players who can hit those vicious corners and crosses, like Beckham, De Bruyne, Brehme, Alexander-Arnold, Tavernier, these are gold dust. But this is not genius, itâs practice. You see an awful lot of shit corners and shit crosses in football
