Can’t agree with that Larry.

Higgins holding his own. Ryan is getting the upper hand on Mary Lou with the ‘you don’t even attend parliament’ jibes.

He’s right. That’s shocking.
good reply. what a twank.

shocking to attack a women who didnt go to parliment cuase she was on maternity leave -FF must be desperate- apart from that she has a 75% attendance record

It’s easy for her on the defensive.

If you are down at the Ploughing Championships when there is a major vote going on in Brussels then you don’t deserve your seat if you ask me.

nobody asked you.

Steady on cyril lad.

Well of course it’e easy for her but that is because of the shambles FF have made of the state. That’s the whole idea but it doesn’t make her point any less valid just because it’s easy for her.

Don’t think Mary Lou’s attendance record is anywhere near as bad as FF are making out farmer to be honest with you.

Hey Ho Captain Jack Bring me back to the Railway track

I notice that she hasn’t responded to any of it though.

Nor should she respond imo.
Loved her comment just there “your corrupt party”. Likewise Ryan is right not to respond to that though I know which allegation I think holds more truth and which matters more.

her attendance record is 75% which is decent enough & her voting record is 2nd to none

its pure negative campaigning by FF- attacking a women after maternity leave for a poor attendance record rather than focusing on the issues

I think Higgins has a decent chance. All depends on the order really and who gets eliminated or elected when. He’d presumably pick up a few from de Rossa - they’re miles apart really but where else are the transfers going to go? Between Mary Lou and Higgins they’ll beat Ryan, just hope the transfers work out.

Hope Joe gets it too, far better politician.

We wouldn’t want to get into a discussion about what Sinn Fein party members get up to now would we.

It will never come out though of course as potential whistleblowers would be sorted out fairly lively.

Listen I am not trying to defend Fianna Fail here but I don’t like Sinn Fein, even if I am anti partition.

Dangerous.

Not to get into a large socialist debate here but I am not sure if I would vote for someone who is against public sector cuts and wants a more prominent voice from unions.

Farmer you have made statements like that before in relation to things like The Northern Bank but have had nothing to back it up. If you can back it up please do so. Sinn Fein has bad members like every party but it’s not corrupt like FF and FG and at least stands for an ideology

Farmer is going to save the World.

Joe Higgins isn’t all that pro-Union. He’s for the idea of unions for working people but I’d say he’s not too popular in SIPTU because he embarrasses them into abandoning their cartel to defend people like the Gama workers - SIPTU wanted nothing to do with that.

It wasn’t the public sector that caused the property bubble or the banking crisis. They are responsible for the state we’re in. It’s the subscribers to the free market theories that have sold our resources to the highest bidder only to see those high bidders fucking off elsewhere as sson as they felt like it.
