Should we rename this the Liverpool thread?

All threads are Liverpool threads

You’ve Man Utd supporting posters endlessly searching through twitter for Liverpool related material 24/7 … what a club

Can’t wait to see Leeds back in the Champions League after all this

What is the timeline for this breakaway?

This could be good for Ireland. If all the top players from the best clubs are banned from international football maybe Ireland might sneak into the next World Cup through a playoff.

Get Celtic into this super league

If UEFA, FIFA and the FAs hold firm enough on this I think they can call the shots.

If we had a guy like Dela in either of these organisations I think we could trust its integrity but I don’t trust football administrators as far as we could throw them.

It wouldn’t surprise me if dela was a sort of mediator here to try and get this resolved.

Haven’t listened to football weekly in a while, I’ll have to throw it on this evening, the hipsters will be in meltdown no doubt

Bayern and Dortmund appear to be opting out. Interesting to see if that has a bearing.

I think it’d be great tbh. Get rid of the clubs who ripped the soul out of community based football for once and for all. Real football men can then get back to the game at hand.

How did Spurs get included, but not Forest and Villa??? Bit of a joke really.

What?

According to source, some of those involved in ESL call traditional supporters of clubs “legacy fans” while they are focused instead on the “fans of the future” who want superstar names

This is driving a few lads on twitter demented, it seems they’ve only now realised they’ve been “supporting” a PLC all along

Hopefully Roma say no as they are apparently being approached.

Given we have American owners it seems unlikely.

We still have Luxembourg and Azerbaijan to deal with. I don’t like our chances.

Spurs have won Fuck all in 60 years.
Ajax, along with Forest and Villa are European royalty. A bit strange.

Nonetheless, a few notable exceptions and an odd inclusion aside, this is exciting. I may have to start watching soccer again. Big European nights on a Saturday.

Perhaps they have an eye on a Champions League final rematch in Istanbul on May 29th. They are the only two of the last eight not as yet involved in this splitter’s charter.
