Cities aren’t places people live anymore. They’re tourist sites

Pal. I went over to Treaty for a pint. There was a queue and there was some place down the street where I thought a gig was going on. I saw the door open so said I’d pop in to see the band, but it was some performance art thing. I couldn’t stand at back as no space so sat on the floor. Had no glasses with me so wasn’t sure what was going on. Then I could see the woman at the top was topless and trying to light a cigarette or incense or something but she started doing some ironing. She got dressed then. Then there was some poetry, singing and the history of Nigeria. There were some funny moments in fairness, but it went on for a while. Eventually I got up and left, which didn’t seem to be the done thing, but my backside was sore from sitting down and it also appears I’d developed athlete’s foot for the first time in my life so my foot was also quite painful.

In short, it would have been better if there was just a massive Jenga set.

They were trying to do the same in Anglesboro a few years ago.
Not sure if it ever worked out…

A few hardy bucks in that photošŸ˜„ One of the lads was on Matt Coopers show yesterday talking about it. They will do some business next week with the festival onšŸŗ
