It’s great food there still IMO but very overpriced compared to what else is out there
So what is thee best restaurant in Limerick according to the forum experts?
Donkey Fords
The Adare Manor or Mustard Seed IMO. Personally i wouldn’t enjoy the environs of the Manor though albeit the food would be the best. I think they have a michelin star for food now. I like the mustard seed overall as a package that would be the best recommendation from me anyway.
Did you eat in the Oak room which is the Michelin star restaurant or in the Carriage house?
There’s nothing fancy about the carriage house but it’s good food.
Carriage house is far more relaxed, great selection of food too. The Oak room is for the rich snobs who like to pick at their 7 course bird seed meal for 4 hours.
The Texas stakeout
Great spot, quality T bone.
Agreed.
Was in there yesterday for the first time in years.
It was savage, even if a little pricey.
Did you have the cookie jar for dessert? Magnificent
It just never let’s you down. An institution
Very hard beat
Heading there Wednesday night with herself looking forward to it.
The Carriage house i think. It’s all the one, the food is great whichever side of the hall you are in, bit of a cunt hole though.
Only time I was there was for brother in law’s wedding , about 5 years or so ago. Food very good but think I was expecting more from it
You know something, I’ve never had a bad meal in there over all the years. Good few years since I was in there
The Texas Steak House
Can you eat outside there now with the parklet thing ?
