Faldo's DIY General thread

I collected a load of fence panels today and when I pulled alongside the stack yer man fired the first one into the trailer. It was sticking out on the driver’s side… I copped it and said id switch as they’d be better sticking out ditch side…

Oh right says he, better chance of taking out a few cyclists

You forgot to tag @Little_Lord_Fauntleroy

people on bikes

I see. What’s the short version of your disdain for the word uttered above?

to shorten is to dehumanize

Brilliant…

No one likes cyclists :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:

He got a tremendous laugh off his own joke, truth be told. It lightened the load as we stacked in brisk cadence.

The grease trap is blocked outside. Is this a job for the professionals?

There should be a plunge bucket down in it. When was it emptyed last

Get the bucket out of it and rod it from the house, and both ways from the trap. Get your hose going as well.

If it’s badly blocked you may need the chemical approach.

Must have a look at my own.

Opened it up. Dirty water up to the top which I scooped out took out until I could see the handle of the bucket. Emptied that then and used it to pale out as much remaining water as I could. All going smoothly now.

Dirty job and thankful I only had two beers last night. I wouldn’t be the best with smells. In the house 2 and a half years it was the first time doing it. How often is it recommended?

Steamer.

Steam wouldn’t be worth a fuck for a job like that.

No need for name calling.

Every 6mths

Is there any systems that don’t have grease traps?

I have no idea if I have a grease trap!
