Do those pen pushers working in Corporate Finance generally have a higher opinion of themselves than regular accountants?
Most definitely.
I’ve noticed the white collar on stripped shirt wearing types seem to be more prevalent in that sphere.
They’re very fond of talking wind and piss when they’re dealing with mergers and acquisitions. But give them a receivership and they really come into their own - they get a serious horn seeing their name in the papers when they’re appointed as receivers.
i detest that “look”
You’re obviously not an 80’s guy!
I liked wall street, but between that and the Marty McFly gilets that everyone is “rocking” these days…fuck off
I can confirm this.
Generally filled with the types of lads into their rugby etc. They love to tell you how they have a load of “deals” on right now as if they are big players in these transactions.
Anyone heading to the event in Doheny’s & Nesbitts on Thursday night?
Irish long distance Olympian Caitriona Jennings will outline the similar characteristics required to be a successful tax adviser and top class international athlete to the ACA Professionals at the popular Business Leaders Corner series.
Didn’t she finish last in the Olympic marathon in London last summer?

Nice bit of camel toe on show on the front of this months edition of Accountancy Ireland
It’s an interesting photo alright. Surprised they didn’t cut a higher line.

Thanks for bringing this to my attention Runt. brb
My copy usually gets lost in the mail room in work for a day or two before arriving at my desk. Can’t wait for it now.
I’d say this issue will get permanently lost.
Hubba Hubba
You wouldn’t find this needless degradation of women on the Accountancy & Business MONTHLY magazine.
Any pic’s?
