Did you look at your manual?
Could be a fuel injector?*

DPF issue Iād say.
Engine management system prevents it revving above 3000.
Ignition Coil would be my guess.
Happened to my Yaris a while back. I worked out it was the coil by taking out the fuse to clear the warning light. Start the car. Take out the ignition coils one by one when the engine is running. If the coil is GOOD there should be a loss of power (of what little power it had). If the coil is BAD it should continue as it was as if nothing happened.
Didnāt know they made a diesel yaris.
This was my thinking
Happened to herself a few years back. She just drove the car for another 4 years, completely untroubled. Sold it for Ā£400 then.
Much to fix?
Edit: Sorry, misread your post
DPF is dear iirc. 600 notes at the time. Driving miss daisy noticed no change in performance any way
Hi @Fran
Sounds like a sensor issue, generally when the DPF Filter is wanked youāll be stalled up.
Visit local garage, plug in and reset hopefully
Sounds like good advice to me. Thatās not the DPF light.
If itās a coil, isnāt it a good idea to change them all together? Expensive!
Maybe cars are different now but historically once that engine light turns on, you drive it to the nearest garage.
Itās a general engine management light.
air flow meterā¦
i know fuck all either but his happened to me recentlyā¦
A DPF issue will throw up that light.
Check your PMsā¦
And the DPF light I presume.
Thanks guys
Thanks Harry, Iāve booked in for a health check on Wednesday. Any issues driving the car to Kilkenny today. Will I do damage?
Orange light warning, Red light Stop.
Thereās no actual DPF light. That engine light covers a lot of things.
Get rid, fastā¦
