Great topic but I’m at a seminar now and can’t for the life of me remember what my calculator make is. Looking forward to finding out in an hour or so.
As an aside, did you guys realise that there’s now an Accountancy Ireland app for iphone and android users?
I see Sir David Tweedie has been inducted into the Ohio State University Accounting Hall of Fame. A very well deserved for the former International Accounting Standards Board chairman.
He wrote a few terrific books back in the day. He was a critic of the historical cost concept used to record assets in the balance sheet and advocated a fair value approach. Way ahead of his time.

You utter, utter cunt of a man.[/quote]
I had choose to ignore the abortion of a post you made previous to that one with your “what my calculator make is” nonsense but when you followed that up with yet another error, I felt I had to act. As I’ve said before, it’s only because I hold you to a higher standard that I am doing this.
A Citizen SDC-8751 is my weapon of choice!! Have it since the first exam in 1997. If I got told to take my personal belongings and fuck off tomorrow it would be the only thing Id take with me…
From my old work place. Current place doesn’t even have pens in stationery room, stopped buying them for staff about two years ago, it’s a joke! I refuse to buy my own but barter a pen for internal envelopes with a bird downstairs whenever I need one…
Right chaps. Who’s in for the Christmas Lunch? Friday, December 13, 12.30pm (CPD Hours: 0), Burlington Hotel. We need to book early to avoid disappointment.
