I’m sure the Estonian contingent down there have a few words of it.
How is the Ebola battle going?
Some hope at last.

That should help improve the sentiment in Tipp at least.
Aherlow House gone to the wall 40 weddings booked.
Aherlow House was a small player in the general scheme of things. Too far off the beaten track for hotel stays & as the wedding numbers booked showed it was weak in that area too.
Dundrum House Hotel in a similar predicament.
Wedding events have been cancelled for months as a fire in the kitchen stopped that. The liquidator refused to fund its refurbishment.
There is an internal issue holding up the sale. Once sorted investors are in place to purchase the hotel & go again. Throughout the year their wedding business is large while the attached Bar & Golf course would also be very busy.
This is pretty cool.

The famine years encapsulated.
Fr Tony is some man. The Doon lads will testify to that.
Great man for a quick mass especially on a championship Sunday.
Sad news coming out that a Tipperary ladies footballer, Rachel Kenneally has passed away, aged 26. Its being called tragic, but no other circumstances being mentioned?
First I’ve heard of it.
She had been ill for a while. Very sad. Talented girl.
What the fuck…i taught her in Mary I … that’s the 4th person I taught that has died over the last 5 years… fucking hell… I cant believe it.
Ah right, I’ll edit my post. Thats shocking sad, 26, fucking hell.
I’d heard she was sick last year when Tipp won the ladies AI. However I was led to believe it wasn’t very serious.
@peddlerscross would be more in the know
She was teaching in Dubai and only got it checked in the summer when she came home. By which time it had gone too far.
There are no words.
Awful news.
She used to be glued to another girl in Mary I who also played for Aherlow … small blonde girl who also played county I think…
Very sad.
