In June 2007 the Republic of Irelands world ranking was 31, it had risen 20 places under Staunton. Fucking hard to believe considering how shite Staunton was. Staunton was sacked at the end of October 2007 and then Trap took over. So going on those facts under Trap we have seen our world ranking drop nearly 30 places.
Thats great going the man who is rediculed as the worst Irish manager had actually got us up 20 places in the world rankings where as when we were under the supposedly world class manager in Trappatoni we have dropped 30 places and yet people bang on here like he was some sort of messiah.
Well just to inform you that they do matter when draws are being made for World cup and European Qualification. Trappatoni has just made it harder for another Irish manager to qualify us for a these tournaments by letting our world ranking drop so low.
Iâve always found it strange how some people seem to care more about which bowl weâre in when draws are being made for qualifying groups, rather than what happens when the actual groups are played.

But what about all the great players that Giovanni never played.
Once theyâre unleashed, it wonât matter a jot what seeding we have.

LOL sure when the players that Trap pissed off come back at least we will have a few more options to be added to the likes of Conner Sammon that Trap unearthed.
