Yeah it had that tragedy at the heart of it that elevated.
Fawlty Towers is probably the greatest sit com for me.

They had six episodes of pure brilliance and six of meh.
In my opinion.
Father Ted up to the end of series 2 was flawless.
Then it fell off a cliff.
Not sure about meh tbh. They were all brilliant, some funnier than others. Do you remember the guy with the exaggerated twitch? lâm not sure what episode it was but that twitch is the greatest exaggerated televisual twitch of all time. Just remembering that twitch makes me laugh now. Classic.
For me. Fawlty Towers and the fast show.

lt was a fine twitch yes but doesnât come near that Fawlty towers twitch.
I always felt the Monty Pythom stuff was a bit overrated. Cleese being a vain smug cunt may have clouded my judgement.

Iâve actually watched a few episodes of it recently feeding the yung fella at stupid oâclock. Itâs on one of the channels at 6 or 7am.
Maybe my general demeanour at that hour of the morning has something to do with it but itâs not my game.
