It was treat craic on a Saturday night in the late 90’s when I lived there, but yes, not a place you’d go for an all day session or anything.
What about the Portobello? A cracking pub as I remember.

Heading to Dublin on a stag this weekend. The Stag is full of Welsh and English so will be staying away from Temple Bar. We’re staying around Camden Street which is ideal.

I just found most of the Dublin pubs I had been in to be soulless .

I don’t get the hate for Ryans. I was in there last night with a load of tans. They’d Dublin Kerry from 01 ok the screens followed by Tipp Wexford and the place was hopping. A great place
