I was in the Ginger Man last night. I’ve always found It to be an excellent pub. They do fine chicken wings too.
@peddlerscross seems like the harmless GAA Muldoon type whose only drinking experiences in Dublin have centred on Camden/Harcourt Street
Is O’shea’s still going on Talbot Street lads? I might pop in later for old times sake
Awful kip… Da flowin tide is a grand spot in that area…
They did a lovely rib of Kerry beef there years ago
The Bachelor Inn was the best pub in Dublin…it Closed for a bit and reopened a few years back but was never the same.
There isn’t a good pub on the planet that serves chicken wings you gowl… You don’t even know what a pub is… You certainly don’t get chicken wings in one… The only bit of grub you’ll get in a good pub is an old skool toastie or crisps and peanuts.
When your out in Dublin, it’s important to keep things simple.
If its not Devitts, Ryan’s or flannerys I’m not interested.
Camden Street has become a Mecca of sorts.
Ryan’s gone. It’s done. It’s over. It’s so sad.
May not be a popular one but I’ve always enjoyed a few early pints in Sweetmans
McNeills on Capel Street has the best pint in Dublin and isn’t full or arseholes or scumbags
It sells Guinness and it sells chicken wings to lads who have had a feed of porter. It’s a pub. And I’ve a motherfucker of a hangover today.
Lovely spot. Good music sessions the odd time too.
Whelan’s isn’t what it used to be, but is anywhere?
Last time I was there I had a couple of nice pints but it lost marks due my pet hate for a pub, an overwhelming smell of food.
You’re an awful prick for likening me to that cunt of a spot
Might be a nice stocking filler.
Seems to be two Instagram accounts doing the exact same thing, think the other one has more followers but this fella has gotten in first with the book anyway.
I had 3 pints in Neary’s off Grafton st with my brother on Sunday while the families were at the panto. It’s years since I was there and it hasn’t changed an iota. Old school barmen in white shirts and dickie bows. The decor would remind you of the Winchester Club in Minder, all red velvet curtains and Axminster carpets. Toast in the bag Ham and Cheese sandwiches with Colmans Mustard and no tv or music. Proper old school and very enjoyable.
