Well done FP

Thanks DB, thread badly needed it. His novice form looked really good and trainer has a good record in the race.

Good man fp. I was passing a bookies earlier(or not passing as the case may be) and lumped on each and did an ew double too. C’mooonn!

An updated P&L is drastically required on this thread. The same hypocrites who accused @The Tipping King of throwing darts are very silent here.

I think the main difference is that FP made no claims that he was going to pay for Christmas

That’s one difference alright. But setting up a “my tipping thread” and then banging out selections without any regular P&L updates, reasoning pre event or review of performance is more suited to the degenerate thread.

@Rocko, can anything be done about incorrectly awarded “Well Clamped” ratings from less intelligent posters?

If life was only so simple I would do all of the above.

Good run

Did he place?

2nd, beaten 2 1/4 lengths.

It wouldn’t be much of a time investment. Just divert some time spent on other threads to this one.

A tipping thread is about discipline and accountability. Discipline of selections and discipline in maintaining/updating the P&L balance. Accountability and review of selections post event then.

There’s none of that at present, merely a list of tips. I’d urge you to merge this thread into the degenerate thread, unless a sycophant like @carryharry volunteers to maintain it.

Got 6/1 in PP earlier, cheers Fenners
Quote of the day came via text from my brother - a fellow Norwegian hater - after Riise’s shot

‘Thanks be to Jaysus that didnt go in. I don’t want that ginger prick to be alive let alone be the subject of kop folklore’

To which I replied: ‘It was some shot in fairness. The twang off the crossbar reminded me of when Rivaldo hit it that time’ (referring to Barcelona game at Anfield in UEFA Cup in 2001 where Rivaldo shot from way out and the ball thundered off the crossbar)

To which he replied:
‘No, it reminded me of Colm Coyle’s long range effort against Mayo. Don’t ever liken Riise to a Brazilian again’
Ta fenners. Legend!

Weird. I quoted fenners and got farmer.

Thanks again fenners. Between you and tony pulis it’s been a great day.

2.30 Fairyhouse Arnaud 2pts win 16-1 (Totesport BOG)

Fenners, is arnaud simply a value bet or do you rate him? I followed the nag for a couple of seasons based on a local recommendation and am well down on him

Three career wins going righthanded. With David Mullins claim he runs here off 134, his last winning mark was 137 and he ran a blinder on next run off 142 behind Alan King’s Valdez. Was running well last time out so fitness not an issue. Looks like he could get an uncontested lead aswell which would greatly enhance his chances. I would have priced him up around 9s or 10s so looks overpriced at 16s.

Thank you. That valdez run last year rekindled my interest and I had hope for him in Cork a couple back but he attracted no money that day
