I thought Tunisia were meant to be shit hot. You were bigging them up before the tournament kicked off saying England wouldn’t beat Tunisia and Tunisia would advance from the group instead of England.
Why would you think that? I just fancied them to get something against England, they’re fairly shit though and nearly accomplished that only for an England set piece speciality in injury time.

Since the 2002 World Cup inclusive, in knockout ties where one team had played extra-time in its previous game and the other team hadn’t, the team who hadn’t played extra-time in its previous game leads 13-4.
The four exceptions are Italy in the 2006 final, Brazil against Colombia in 2014, Germany against France in 2014, and England yesterday.
Open to correction on this but the only instance I can think of where a team has come through two successive extra-time periods and then won their next tie against a team who hasn’t played extra-time in their previous game is France in 1998, and France did not play the full extra-time against Paraguay due to Laurent Blanc scoring a sudden death winner.
