The silver lining is that the british government are boycotting the tournament to get back at the ruskies.

The fire alarm went off in the Swedish teams hotel at 5am. M16 up to their usual tricks.
There seems to be this perception, especially on this forum, that Croatia are done.
I don’t buy it, especially after reading Rakitic’s comments about the team doing it for Modric after the Denmark shoot out.
I think they’ll cruise past Russia tonight, looking bemused at the huffing and puffing from the ruuskies running around like doped up gorillas, while the Croats pass the ball around to each others feet with unnerring accuracy.
They’ll then proceed to demolish the poms or swedes fairly handily.
The final will be a cracking game with Croatia in it.
