Denmark have been very unimpressive. I wouldn’t put it past the Aussies to at least take something off them, possibly beat them.
In a way they’re fighting against the hand of history as every team which has qualified for the World Cup by beating Eire in a play-off has gone out in the first round.

European teams unbeaten in the competition so far. Do you want teams who will roll over and have their belly tickled by Messi? This is the World Cup, mate. This is the biggest prize in football and where the greats seal their legacy.
Eire were beaten 5-1 at home by that Denmark team. Let that sink in.
