I’m using the fact that Messi is meant to be the best player in the world, is meant to be one of the all time greats and he has continues his tradition of bottling it on the biggest stage.
I don’t think goals against Iran, Bosnia and Nigeria are befitting of justifying a player as an all time great.

Gas craic. Cristiano Ronaldo has missed several big penalties over the course of his career, and much worse than that, chickened out of taking one when his country needed him most in the 2012 European Championship semi-final.
