I donāt understand the tactics of the losing teams so far in the penos. There seems to be a free hand given to center halves to be in the first 2 or 3 penalties. Heās a leader and he put his hand up so heās first up. No. Heās shit at penalties heās good at heading the ball. Luis Diaz, youāre first up because youāre really good at football not 3rd or 4th after a couple of donkeys have missed.

Theyāre a slightly richer manās Mexico. They just donāt have the mentality.
They hadnāt the mentality in 1994 or 1998 or 2014 or 2018 either.
Uruguay are the only Latin American team outside of Brazil or Argentina who donāt have a losersā mentality.

Colombia would have added something to it judging by their Copa America tussles with Argentina. They might have had a proper go being in ābonus territoryā. They wouldnt have feared Argentina anyway. They were very disappointing tonight. Swiss were compact and disciplined but Colombia were totally risk averse.

Personally I think Colombia would have folded like a cheap tent against Argentina and Argentina will be much more wary of playing the Swiss.

Youād be fairly annoyed if you watched nearly all that dross but fell asleep at half time in extra time & just woke up. Definitely didnāt happen to me anyway.

Poor game last night, I offset my boredom by watching tennis. Every time I flicked back there was someone on the ground or another misplaced pass going over the sideline.
To offset the boredom of the tennis there was some nordie woman on the next channel travelling through the American deep south looking for scots Irish food and culture. This was probably the best offering.
