Should the taker get a second chance when he has already missed a one on one from the penalty spot? If the keeper has made a great save, what makes it ok for me man to get the benefit of tapping in a rebound when the keeper is sprawled on the ground?

A penalty is awarded because an obvious goal scoring chance has been illegally prevented, there should be as much opportunity awarded to the attacking side to score as possible from it.
As I said, devils advocate, but a free shot from the penalty spot is a pretty strong opportunity advantage, especially if thereâs a sending off also.
