FIFA World Cup 2026 - North America

Ya it had me stumped too, guaranteed to be trouble on and off the pitch but surely no away fans are permitted.

The game is on in November. Not a hope getting there then, not even by Flexbus.

Please kill me now

Kuwait after frittering away a two goal lead to Iraq with the ninety nearly up

Kuwait don’t like it up em

So I was just looking at the format of this: I think we’re hoping that Denmark hold on to beat Portugal in the second leg at the weekend.

While Denmark are better than us, they can be fairly workmanlike and were fairly dour at the Euros and the World Cup. They’re definitely a team that you could battle to draws against.

Hungary aren’t bad but aren’t anything we should fear either.

We need to get organised, stop conceding soft goals, get good at set-pieces and add a counter-attacking element to our play.

Even if we do manage to come 2nd, it’s not going to be easy to actually qualify. 16 teams go into the play-offs with only 4 qualifying.so you’d actually have to win two matches to get there, against potentially decent opposition.

Ah that’s absolutely brilliant :joy::joy::joy:

Our qualification group opponents haven’t fared so well in their Nations League play-offs so far this evening.

Hungary beaten 3-0 by Turkey at home. 6-1 on aggregate.

Armenia beaten 6-1 by Georgia in Tbilisi. 9-1 on aggregate.

As good a free kick goal as you’d ever see there from Reece James against Latvia
