Hey @Fagan_ODowd ……Seán MacReamoinn - yay or nay?
There was a lovely bit of Ciaran Mac Mathuna on Pat Shortts music on the telly on Saturday. It’s on the RTÉ player. Best bit was old footage of Ted Furey playing in the Abbey Tavern with Eddie and Finbarr as young lads and the look on his face, as proud as punch of the two boys. The Humours of Donnybrook was a great show too.
Got it in one. Spot on. It would have annoyed me not to find out.
And bang on cue - Horslips whacking one out now on the Ronan Collins show.
Not Pronsias MacAonghusa? edit. Boxty has it there
There was a cork singer known as the pucker as he used sing that I think? Maybe it’s that fella there. Great one for a sing song everyone to join in and drag out the last allellooooooo each time
