There’s your man George Murphy that used sing the Luke Kelly songs years ago on some talent show.

He’s still going for the Luke Kelly style anyway. Programme is live I think.

The Klares are cleaning up here at the set dancing competition

If you playing the bodrhan or the squeeze box is it obligatory to do the sideways look away from the instrument your man is doing above

Was at this earlier, a top quality production. Some amount of young musical talent in the country. The parents of Aisling Murphy (RIP) were in attendance, presenting scholarship awards in her memory.

There were two lads on fleadh tv there and they hadn’t a note between them. They were so put of tune it gave me toothache.

Just back. Every person in ireland should go to the fleadh at least once. Fucking superb. Music everywhere. Some buzz.

Did you play a tune yourself?

I didnt. But the kids did. With their maimeo and daideò and their cousins. I looked after the drinking side of things. And got my head shaved.

That sounds great. I’ve only ever been to one myself…the last one in ballina i think. I slept in a car one night and then walked up to reception in a hotel the next. When the lad in reception got off the phone i asked if he’d any rooms…he said we’ve just had a cancellation. Unrale luck in retrospect.
Talk about badness…

TSG had told us all you had little left anyway
