The shape of your team is terrible there, you shouldnāt have red spots in your formation, and much less those deep red spots which mean you have major problems in those parts of the pitch.

Heās retraining some of those players in those positions Iād imagine which will take time. Iād have concerns about the age profile of the team though. He needs to send a bus load of scouts to South-America.

Iād be looking at Ryan Gravenberch of Ajax if I was him on FM20.
I had Gravenberch at Roma. I spent most of my budget on Fati.
Space the team out better. Thatās where you are going wrong.
Iāve won 3 champions leagueās and 7 PLs with Aston Villa in FM20, I can confirm that this guy hasnāt a clue. Nothing on the wings and FM20 is all about the wings - they actually changed actually changed game engine to make wingers more effective than central playmakers because the defender AI wasnāt able to cope with passes through the middle very well they they turned them down and turned up wing play. In FM21 the defender AI is better so theyāve allowed the central playmakers to be better. Also, from my experience you need 4 at the back - how are those 3 lines joined up? Also he should actually let Camavinga do more but play him in his natural defensive position and then that would open up the space for a more attacking player somewhere in the formation. Also, when was the last time anyone won a top league baceing their team around a 35 year old? Youāre Real Madrid - buy the best young player in the world for attack midfield and defence and dominate.
Iād agree that wingers are the vital component in FM20 and I was never a big winger man before but have had to adapt for the 2020 version.

Just at the winter break.
Currently 2nd and 10 points behind an unbeaten Barca juggernaut. Itās been a barren spell for Real with just 1 title in the past 7 years.
Iām out of the CL after Lyon snatched a last minute winner, I paid the price for sending out my B team in 5 of the 6 games.
Domestic form hasnāt been too bad of late, paying for slow start to the season though the manner of some of the performances have been poor. Fati has really struggled so far.
Iām going to trim the squad in January, hoping to get rid of the likes of Ntcham, Jovic, Kubo and give some of the youth players a go. Varane, Kroos and Hazard are all out of contract at the end of the season so Iāll see them off then.
If Barca lose once that will break their psychological bubble.
Iāve decided that I might get back into this for the next week as Iāll be isolating. I wouldnāt really have the time to be at it after that so itās only for the week really
