Football Trivia

Nigel Reo Coker

Seth Johnson?

Seth was capped by England against Italy under Peter Taylor shortly before joined Leeds

Is Jermaine Pennant the Champions League one?

Correct. As an aside, I believe heā€™s about to join a club in Singapore.

Curtis Davies

Nope. His fee seems to be a bit of a mystery. If it was Ā£8m then itā€™s not he. If it was Ā£10m then it is. But BBC report Ā£8m and weā€™re looking for higher than that.

what about my Reo Coker answer?

Thatā€™s correct.

 Sorry, missed that. Correct.

Players whoā€™ve started in at least two European Cup finals for two different English sides.

Cashley is one, anyway.

Yes. Heā€™s one. I was asked this question earlier today but wasnā€™t provided with an answer yet. I have a second one as well. Think its just the two but Iā€™m open to correction if thereā€™s more.

I have it but had to Wikipedia it so wonā€™t reveal it. Possibly only @Fagan_ODowd might have a chance of knowing this without cheating.

Someone who played for Man Utd and then Forest or something?

Yeah, was thinking along similar lines first off. Larry Lloyd was the first name that came into my head. He played on a Liverpool side that beat Mƶnchengladbach in a final but it was the Big Vase final of 1973. He was already at Forest by the time Liverpool beat Mƶnchengladbach in their first European Cup final in 1977.

Frank Gray.

First English player to win winners medals in the European Cup with two separate English clubs?

Correct on Frank Gray - Leeds 1975, Forest 1980.

Is it on the field of play or does it include Jimmy Rimmer who was Man Uā€™s sub goalie in 1968?

Jimmy Rimmer it is. Won two winners medals and played a total of 7 minutes for them.

Yes it was some baptism of fire for Nigel Spink when Rimmer got injured so early in the 1982 final. It might even have been Spinkā€™s debut in a first team game, or if not his debut he only had a handful of appearances under his belt.
