just for clarity here, this poster has never been to a derby & has in fact never been to Anfield or indeed a live football game
What’s the Spanish for Footix? A slightly underwhelming game. Pedri and Balde were very good but Yamal was below par. The atmosphere wasn’t a patch on Anfield.

Terrific stat here:
If the season started in October, Palace would be heading for champions league.
Insert the name of interchangeable hipster coach here has done an incredible job with them
It’s a damn shame Palace lost Olise and then Henry burnt Mateta out at the Olympics.
Would be a great weekend to see Fulham in fa cup final on Saturday and send Cark home from the Gaelic grounds on Sunday.
Do you pronounce the x in footix or is it like grand prix?
Gary Neville had them down to finish 5th and Ken Early didn’t include them in his top 4 either. I think most knowledgable followers would’ve had them down for 3rd, behind Man City and Arsenal.
Ken Early ![]()
He’s an awful little thug. Lowers the blade but wouldn’t be able to back it up I’d say.
Curtis Jones was very good tonight as an emergency right-back. The Scouser in our team.

A Yanited fan in 1996 so probably doesn’t follow the soccer anymore
“They’re all overpaid prima donnas. I follow the rugby now”
“too many blacks in the premier league now”
It’s been a long season and a club world cup now on top of it. I’ve contacted the SPFA about it. We are basically straight through to the World Cup.
Any Everton fans I’ve met in Liverpool are invariably sound. You’d have to admire the career Seamus Coleman has put down there, hopefully Jake O’ Brien can achieve something similar. A proper traditional club who’ve been ousted from the upper echelons by oil states and monied franchises.
Some muldoon patronising what he sees as a traditional club
I’ve had several pints with Evertonians in Kavanaghs, Ye Cracke, etc. All good sorts.
