Whatever about the quality of his analysis, Giles was a nice guy and a bit of a laugh. He didn’t take himself too seriously.
I’m sad to see him go.

Not according to the stories ive heard
There won’t be a sham marriage in Dublin for at least a week after Portugal’s victory.
Cristiano Ronaldo has to go to work in the morning.
A thoroughly successful Euro 2016 tournament in terms of the organisational, security and safety aspect.
All supporters who attended did so in the name of freedom and are true heroes of our time. They’ve stood up and shown that naysayers and doomsayers are merely pathetic, spineless, lily-livered, useless cunts who provide nothing of any worth to society and would be the first to roll over if faced with a threat to civilisation as we know it. Us fans who travelled to France stood up and were counted when most needed.
You’d have needed your head examined not to go.
Tassotti is seething somewhere that there were no bombings during the tournament
He’s a busted flush, mate.
The other one of them promised bombs and all sorts… The two biggest cowards this board has seen since Flano and Ben.
Modesty almost forbade me drawing attention to the 4th post in this thread
A grown man humiliated into copping the fuck on by a child, heartwarming.
stephen Ireland?
He wishes he was as cool as Stevie.
As most assists of those runners up to the golden boot, Ronaldo received the Silver Boot. He gifted it to Nani, who also had 3 goals, as a thank you for leading the team in his absence last night. What a guy Ronaldo is.
Some man. A new hero.
Amazing that in time everything reveals itself. What we see on the pitch is very annoying sometimes, but the poor bastard has literally spent his whole life trying to win…well everything. He has ridiculous standards and would in the medium term at least make a dreadful coach. But what a workerhorse. Delighted for him.
I have completely turned 180 on him in past 2 or so years.
I also am very near making the full jump from GAA to Soccer. I thought technically and tactically this championships were facinating. The technical ability of the top teams seems to have increased. Improved coaching systems across the board seem to be rewarded now. Alot of the games were like chess matches but that means it takes just that little bit more brilliance to win. Thought we saw alot of that.
Just wish it wasn’t the EPL shoved down my throat all the time.
GAA is dogshit these days.
Bumped for the fools that said it wasnt a shot a keeper should save
