As most assists of those runners up to the golden boot, Ronaldo received the Silver Boot. He gifted it to Nani, who also had 3 goals, as a thank you for leading the team in his absence last night. What a guy Ronaldo is.

Amazing that in time everything reveals itself. What we see on the pitch is very annoying sometimes, but the poor bastard has literally spent his whole life trying to win…well everything. He has ridiculous standards and would in the medium term at least make a dreadful coach. But what a workerhorse. Delighted for him.
I have completely turned 180 on him in past 2 or so years.
I also am very near making the full jump from GAA to Soccer. I thought technically and tactically this championships were facinating. The technical ability of the top teams seems to have increased. Improved coaching systems across the board seem to be rewarded now. Alot of the games were like chess matches but that means it takes just that little bit more brilliance to win. Thought we saw alot of that.
Just wish it wasn’t the EPL shoved down my throat all the time.
GAA is dogshit these days.
