Bandage would be more of a English cricket fan than a Republic of Ireland soccer fan.
It was probably Gizzy Lyng if it was a Wexican. I didn’t see it but he’s done some co-commentating for TG4 before and is a teacher in the Gaelscoil in Wexford town.

Stephen Reid is injured, aint even making the bench at Blackburn while Andrews starts ahead of him. Zero impact if available. Would have him in squad ahead of Miller alright.
Clinton Morrisson is bog standard. Leon Best has scored more goals than him this season for Coventry. Best is on a hot streak at club level. Would have Morrisson ahead of jokers like Stokes but he would have made fuck all difference either.
Lee Carsley is useless in a two man centre midfield. Would be handy enough if we switched to 451 but he is 36 and maybe better off giving someone else a go.
Andy Reid would be the first Irish midfielder I would pick. I’d have him wide left ahead of Duff, Hunt, McGeady. Id have him wide right ahead of Lawrence or any of them. A central midfield of Whelan and himself would lack pace alright but I think he could do a good job as a deep lying space filling midfielder. In a side that’s only attacking option seems to be set pieces it beggars belief really that our best set piece taker aint even in the squad. He is one of the form players in the EPL. Ah its fucking sick really. Typical Irish shit.
If only Andy Reid had put down the guitar and gone to bed. He should be ashamed of himself.
