They said that Stephen Ireland was our biggest threat but that there was some doubt over whether he would play or not as he had a falling out with Trappatoni.

Didn`t see any fighting Sledge (was there some?) but we left The Oval early enough headed down to the wool shed, the atmosphere was very good in there.

I get on alright with some of the YBIG gang but no so well with others so on balance I decided to give it a wide berth even though I was supposed to go down and give a mate a hand grafting badges. I’d say there was a decent atmosphere in there alright, Wolfe Tones tunes to beat the band no doubt.
