I think he’s a decent player but his level is about the Championship playoff. Unfortunately, we don’t have many better options at that type of role but he’s not any better than anything Scotland have.

I agree with you, his not a world beater or the answer to all our problems. But for me, he definitely has to start on Saturday and surely will I’d say. He has something different, he can see a through ball etc…No one else in our midfield generally looks up or has the courage to take a pass that might lose possesion of the ball or create a goal scoring chance for Shane, Slab or Robbie.

Ireland are going to win this fucker. O Neill has shown himself to be surprisingly attacking with his selections so far in this group. He knows we need to win and by fuck will we be solid in defence. It’ll be seat-edged stuff with separate telling interventions from Brady and McGeady. There’ll be blood spilled and many many cards shown. All to play for with 15 to go, we’ll run out winners and you’ll end up ‘accidentally’ strolling by the 51 on your way to coppers to catch a glimpse of some of the weird fucks who populate this place.
