Freedom Fighters v Vile Lickspittles-Saturday 5pm

Was one of those chaps that died in the sewer yesterday related to Keane?

First cousin according to the papers.

Two free tickets secured. :cool::cool::cool:

I’ll be serenading the departing jockos with ā€œgo home you huns, go home you huns, go home you huns, go homeā€ to the tune of Auld Lang Syne from 6.40pm on Saturday. I invite you all to join me.

Without question he is the most technically gifted player this island has ever produced.

So good he can’t kick a ball beyond the first defender .

This island produced Georgie Best.

He has got a bit to go before we can compare him to Messi/Ronaldo.

You’re confusing him with Wesley Hoolahan, mate. As Eamon Dunphy said on RTE Radio the other evening, Martin O’Neill should have been sacked on the spot for implying in a recent interview that Hoolahan is a bit of a luxury player.

We’ve nothing creative without Wes, only lad that can pick a pass. I hope O’Neill starts him, he really has to.

A poor man’s Shaun Maloney.

100% pass completion in the championship playoff is good enough for me. What other creative options do we have other then long balls up to Walters that might come off 1 every 50 times…

Long balls up to Slab Murphy.

Tony O’Donoghue has been in a car accident now.

What next ?

I think he’s a decent player but his level is about the Championship playoff. Unfortunately, we don’t have many better options at that type of role but he’s not any better than anything Scotland have.

Surely there is another way or are you that skeptical of Irish soccer?

I agree with you, his not a world beater or the answer to all our problems. But for me, he definitely has to start on Saturday and surely will I’d say. He has something different, he can see a through ball etc…No one else in our midfield generally looks up or has the courage to take a pass that might lose possesion of the ball or create a goal scoring chance for Shane, Slab or Robbie.

I have an offer of a free ticket to this. Or i can stay west and go to salthill on sunday. Dublin would involve pints and staying up there. Sell this fixture to me.

I’d like to see that team for Saturday, 5 Ulster men in the starting XI.

Ireland are going to win this fucker. O Neill has shown himself to be surprisingly attacking with his selections so far in this group. He knows we need to win and by fuck will we be solid in defence. It’ll be seat-edged stuff with separate telling interventions from Brady and McGeady. There’ll be blood spilled and many many cards shown. All to play for with 15 to go, we’ll run out winners and you’ll end up ā€˜accidentally’ strolling by the 51 on your way to coppers to catch a glimpse of some of the weird fucks who populate this place.
