Iād like to see that team for Saturday, 5 Ulster men in the starting XI.
I would be very surprised if we started with an orthodox 4-4-2 especially as we were completely overran in midfield against them last November. I would expect it to be either 4-4-1-1/4-5-1 or 4-4-2 with Hendrick tucked in on the right and McGeady given licence to roam of the left wing like we were set up against England last Sunday.
So it will be a straight choice between Hendrick or McClean, Houlahan or Keane and Long or Walters I would feel.
I would also expect Given or Westwood to start in goals and Whelan to start in midfield.
I personally wouldnāt start McClean or Long both are far more suited to coming on after an hour and quickening the tempo and adding directness

I think itāll be as you say except Given for Forde, Whelan for McClean and Holohan for Slab. He wants Brady and Coleman to push on so Whelan is a must. He knows thereās no point in Keane by himself so hopefully he puts Wes up with him. Think heāll switch McGeady to the left.
I had been thinking that itās a straight choice between Wes and Robbie but I think youāre right, thereās a chance to play them both. Not playing Walters would be a surprise to me though.
I think as you and @Big Mick McCarthy are both suggesting weāll effectively play with one winger in McGeady and get Hendrick to play narrow on the other side so we can match them for numbers in midfield.

I would be slightly wary of this approach as I think Robertson the left back is an excellent and underrated player and is a very dangerous attacking threat and I wouldnāt like for him to be able to bomb on all game long with Hendrick tucked in

Actually, youāre right. No Walters would be a shock considering how good he has been for us*. But he seems to like Hendick, as do I and I wouldnāt be surprised if he starts Walters with Keane and brings Wes on with Long later.
I appreciate the tactical discussions but I have recently acquired a ticket for this fixture and I am beginning to feel my blood boil. I absolutely detest " Scotland" and itās people. We must best these English cunts and abuse any of them who arenāt in the away section. Time for jacks army to step aside and let people with pure hatred in their souls for Scotland own this fixture. Perhaps drive a few bin lorrys around the streets near the away end, that might spook them.
Skirt wearing vile servile English loving tight fisted sectarian bigots who think they are great at designing bridges.

Robertson is another lower EPL / Upper half of championship journeyman ffs . The last time Ireland made him look like jordi alba and mulgrew look like Pirlo.
met croppy tonight and he laid out in a calm coherent manner what is wrong with the scotch as a people
it has increased my hatred of these cunts 10 fold, they are vile detestable quislings and I hope my dear friend horsebox glasses one of the cunts on saturday-huzzah
Robertson seemed to lose a bit of form since the last match. He lost his place (to Brady ultimately) at Hull did he not? Heās certainly a decent player but heās certainly no better than Coleman on the same flank. Having Hendrick maybe doesnāt allow us to attack Robertson enough but put Walters out there a bit (or Long when heās on) and that should keep him honest.
Scots are ok all told. They ultimately āKentā the āHampden roarā in the referendum and realised better the city of London pay for their big government rather than pay for it themselves and take a hell of a drop .

Robertson is a v good player indeed but hardly underrated, his club have said they wonāt listen to offers below Ā£30m for him.
I spoke briefly with ray crotty this evening . He is a cultured soul and rarely given to emotional outbursts but if I may paraphrase him he said that he has travelled near and far and seen many different cultures And civilisations but never in all this time has he encountered such a cradle of evil, a heinous cesspit of ignorance and intolerance as he experienced in Scotland. He said he looked into the dull, soulless gazes of Scottish people and saw nothing but evil incarnate, may the Good Lord strike them all down.
Ray If I havenāt reflected our chat accurately please do let me know. See you at the game, should be a cracker.
Iād advise any forum regulars attending this fixture to pop into the 51 beforehand. Given the dysfunctional nature of the crew, thereāll be fireworks guaranteed.
