That it isnt, although Iāve never did the overnight with anyone who would be under the coffin. A ballsy move.
Iām unaware of the story here, a chara.
My condolences, if appropriate.
Condolences @Fagan_ODowd. We had mam and dad at home. Only way to do it imo. Felt like a proper send off. Helps everyone grieve too.
Ah itās not easy. Herselfās cousin + wife were having a 5 year old birthday party for their daughter a couple of weeks back, at playworld. All parents with kids presentā¦ The cousinās wife lost her dad a few weeks back and I hadnāt seen her as I minded our two when the funeral took placeā¦ So there you are in playworld with your shoes off in the play area and her daughter dressed as a princess and delighted with herself and loads of hyper kids off their tits on sugar. And you awkwardly waiting for your cue to say āsorry for your lossā ā¦ I did it anyway but itās hard to do it out in a social setting a bit after the passing.
Fair play to you for doing it though. Thats the important thing.
Ah itās more not wanting to upset or make it uncomfortable for the other person when they are enjoying a social occasion. But it is probably better to say it whenever you get the opportunity.
Sorry for your loss mate.
Ah i dont want you to feel upset or get uncomfortable but it wasnāt about you at all it was just a dig at @Horsebox
I knowā¦ I was sticking up for my old pal. Heās a prick but heās our prick.
A noble gesture that Iām sure was appreciated. Condolences on your loss.
An occasion nonetheless for the dark suit and good shoes but itās too good of a day for the black fedora.
Sorry for your loss.
Was it a friend or a member of family if you donāt mind me asking?
Very sorry to hear that. Wishing you the best for the next few days and sorry for your loss.
Iām very sorry for your loss.
Sorry for your loss Fagan. Must have been someone close for you to stay the night with them. Iām sure the family appreciated it. Ar dheis DĆ© go raibh a anam.
Thanks all. Deceased was a great age. Great send off.
I wonder did the Thessalonians ever write back to St Paul.
Family farmer. In law.
White shirt, black tie, black shoes, grey suit. Left the fedora at home.
