Are there many people calling for Mount Rushmore to be blown up?
Are, say Black Lives Matter or the ACLU or the Southern Poverty Law Centre doing so, for instance?

Heāll be outside Old Trafford and Anfield arguing statues of white men perpetuates a myth that only white men can manage successful sports franchises.
Iād say anyone that was a slave owner or fought for slavery of murdered innocent people or advocated or participated in genocide raped people or abused children or any of the likes of that shouldnāt have statues glorifying them up around the place.
What do you reckon yourself?
If Leeās statue gets removed, and they move on to 60m tall faces of slave owners, would they get your equal support?
Why can you not admit that the confederacy were a sound bunch of lads apart from the slavery which was the basis of their entire system?
Which of the people whose faces are portrayed on Mount Rushmore fought on the confederate side in the civil war, again?
So remove all statues everywhere that predate say WW2?
Apparently itās because Iām a traitor to my race.
As are all white people of such views, or at least thatās what @Watchyourtoes says.
Where did I say that?
ok, so according to you owning slaves was grand as long as you were on the right side of the war.
centuries old virtue signalling.
The post I quoted. I will break it down
*Iād say anyone that was a slave owner - anybody of any means prior to mid 19th century in America and say mid 18th century elsewhere *
*of murdered innocent people - any freedom fighter, terrorist, soldier quite a few PMs or Kings/Queens *
*or advocated or participated in genocide - any white person who benefited from Native American lands *
or any of the likes of that shouldnāt have statues glorifying them up around the place.
What do you reckon yourself?
The confederacy fought for freedom from the north. Except for the slaves? Why do you hate freedom? Except for the slaves.
Hereās a thing that is wrong. Cunts using the bastardised text abbreviation āpplā
Itās not that hard to type the other three letters, fuckos.
Any chance you might answer my question?
Are there many people calling for Mount Rushmore to be blown up?
Are, say Black Lives Matter or the ACLU or the Southern Poverty Law Centre doing so, for instance?
Itās amazing the way nuance suddenly flies out the window with you lot when you lose an argument and you start wheeling out the hilarious strawmen.
I donāt know the answer to that Sidney.
Iām sure looking up at a 60m high representation of a slave owner canāt be pleasant for black people though. And itās a celebrated tourist destination
I donāt think itās a strawman argument at all.
Almost all symbolic monuments are of people who lead in turbulent, violent times or are religious. Almost all symbolic monuments will offend some people.
Who gets to decide which oneās come down? You.
You are an extremely righteous and arrogant person.
I wouldnāt dare deign to tell anybody to remove any symbolic monument, I just choose not to be offended by it.
Iāve never passed a monument and thought, jeez, whoās that, he looks like someone whoās ideology I should follow
True freedom is the freedom to enslave!
Thatās the current Republican partyās actual idea of what āfreedomā is, by the way.
Itās the idea of āfreedomā which has permeated right-wing politics forever.
Hitler was obsessed with the notion of the survival of the fittest and the Nazis pumped out propaganda films which attempted to demonstrate that humans should be like animals where the strong devour the weak.
@sidney Would you sooner walk into a hillbilly redneck trailer park of gun toting white extremists in Mississippi at night or a black gang neighbourhood in New Orleans?
Are you going to apologise for the lies about me or answer if any statues at all can be taken down or just avoid the questions altogether?
Whatās the story?
I got lost in Philly one evening and ended up in a really rough neighbourhood. Two black lads walked me out of it back to near where my brother was living.
I went in there with out fear or prejudice.
