Snakey move.
I saw that . They sold well .
Jesus, pretty much everything about this story is wrong
Probably for the best
Whatâs very wrong about it is the English language reporting
The girl was not euthanised at all
This is a genuine case of dreadful and irresponsible journalism
New Vodafone ad. With Jennifer whatever her name is with the âget innnnâ and that other architect bollox. Smugfest 2019.
Every advert on rte seems to be a smugfest at present.
This should never have been allowed to happen.
No she wasnât but she made a conscious decision to slowly end her life I found it hard to fathom and her mother etc went along with it,for Godâs sake one would hope it wonât happen too often- here I reckon youâd be sectioned for surely some members of her family didnât agree with it and felt that the poor girl wasnât in her right senses when she decided to end itâ:thinking: extremely sad , having watched a son / mother fie slowly from C and cling on to the vvv last second of life I find it hard to comprehend ,look I might be totally wrong but itâs my thought on the whole sad affair
did you even read the story?
I read it on twitter this morning, excerpt from some Dutch newspaper/ journalist
Full story
I awful sorry to hear that very sad news mate. God rest them and keep them safe for your arrival. I hope youâre coping well. Keep strong.
Doctors, ethicists and psychologists had apparently signed off on her right to die at home, saying her mental condition had made living âunbearableâ as the young girl suffered from the trauma of multiple sexual assaults between the ages of 11-14. It sparked a challenging moral discussion â conservatives warned of the dangerous âslippery slopeâ that euthanisa rights pose, while those on both sides of the political spectrum argued that even the most severe mental health issues can âalways get betterâ.
What I wrote was what was reported, upset me and euthanasia or not she ended her life needlessly
Appreciate it but I was thinking of that poor girl, she couldnât have been in the right frame of mind to do this one would hope here it wouldnât happen- sheâs was only a kid
The parents were not on board. They tried to stop her, but 17 is the legal age of consent for euthanasia in Netherlands so they had no say.
Itâs one hell of a fucked up story.
Sounds like irresponsible parenting and a devilmaycare approach from the professionals. The dutch like to present themselves as pioneers but this case is well beyond the pale.
I agree ref fucked up, sorry if I was wrong ref mother not on board but the girls words or as near" I explained to my family etc what I wanted ,was doing etc" and they left her? Fuck me I wouldnât let any of mine unless they were crying in pain for ages to be released
I have to agree wholeheartedly boy Iâm old and bloody set in my ways but feel this is against decency, and immoral to let a child slip away like this
Shocking as it is tomorrow itâll be yesterdayâs news and thereâll something worse thatâll have come along.
