Further Things That Are Wrong (Part 1)

Can I just say, this was your funniest post in a year.

ePL is the new EPL

Hospital staff say she was checked an hour before she was found on the floor, according to a piece in today’s paper.

It is shocking that it looks like they just do hourly checks on mothers and their new babies. You would expect that there would be a nurses station in the ward that would have a nurse present at all times and that can see all the beds in the ward.

Sometimes these things are just freak accidents, and nobody’s fault.

Exactly.

Was she not in a private room? If she was in a ward somebody would have seen/heard her.

I think it is just a really horrible and tragic accident. Does not bear thinking about that call to the husband and his new reality.

Have you been in a hospital lately? That’s not possible in any layout I’ve seen.

How often would be sufficient? It’s a sad and tragic case. But hourly checks is not “shocking”.

+1.

Was this fella not logging in on the fathers thread not so long ago? Did the missus have the child in the hiace or something?

You really a pathetic cunt, you add fucking nothing to any discussions on here.

I read she had an epileptic fit? Just a horrible horrible tragedy. She’d been put in a private room after the birth and in such circumstances you wouldn’t be expecting the nurses to be in every five minutes disturbing a new mother and child. There is nothing shocking in that element whatsoever other than the nature of the accident.

Accidents are just that, accidents.

There but for the grace of god and all that.

The poor father and partner. Fucking hell. To go from literally the best moment of your life to the absolute worst in such a short period.

It’d put a pain in your stomach thinking about it.

I work in the place where she worked. Didn’t know her though. Wicked sad, the team she was in had councellors in to help them get over it.
