Further Things That Are Wrong (Part 1)

His bollox should be revoked- that prick wouldn’t last 10 seconds in Derry, fairly confident he wouldn’t be walking around the streets of Cork for long either

A sex pest wouldn’t last long in Cork??? Right…

Thanks s not a sex pest- that’s a possible rapist ( he’s been caught-so far for 3 women) no doubt many more will come forward, disgusting creature wouldn’t be available to taxi near my patch

Where is your patch @Corksfinedtboy ? Ill send prayers.

I have Cork in my prayers this week as I have prayed for the young Ballymaloe lad. Isnt there a sex pest based there too?

I wont pray for the muslim taxi man, I’ll leave that to allah.

I’ll be flat out praying for Peter Casey in the European elections. I only wish we would have HBV back for it. I pray @Rocko will do the right thing and suspend the last month of his suspension.

What’s right with it? Deletion of history is not a good thing.

I believe Lee was a very honourable man but fought for a dishonourable cause - he felt compelled to fight for his home.

Agree with @Watchyourtoes - trying to hide / delete history is not the answer … but if these lads really feel that strongly about it, they should carry out operation Nelson’s Column

Lee was regarded as highly as any military leader ever was, after his surrender at Appomattox he immediately looked to rebuild the nation through reconciliation as he could have just as easily instructed a prolonged gorilla war which would have dragged on years more. Had Lee accepted the initial offer of Union command the war would have been over in less than 18 months such was his ability on the field of battle(bar Gettysburg) Had Lees plan of action not been discovered by fluke at Antietam then the Confederacy arguably win the war with victory leading to it’s recognition by the Brits and French and preventing Lincoln from proclaiming the emancipation proclamation. In my opinion slavery aside the Souths fight for state rights were as honourable as could have been at the time in America, they are completely different people culturally.

What about statues of Franco, should they be left up?

Are you suggesting Lee was as bad as Franco?

Why not just answer the question? What about statues of Cromwell in Ireland, should we leave a few of them up?
