leave the lee statue aside. Simple question, should every single statue be left up just because it’s there? Should statues of Franco be left up? Should pictures of Jimmy saville be left up in the bbc?

A smarmy input(no surprise) but I have long studied and continue to study the civil war. I’m fairly confident the vast majority of descendants of confederate soldiers would know exactly what to say to the liberal snowflakes who are offended by a memorial to one of Virginias greatest sons.

As I mentioned by your train of thought @glasagusban we should tear down any monuments to Michael Collins if a minority of modern day anti treaty descendants are offended by it because of the incidents during our own civil war.
