I plugged in my iPhone the night before last to charge it as I had to be up and off by 7am and needed the phone fully charged for the day.

When I got up and picked up the phone there was some message on it like ‘optimised charging’ and it sitting at only 85%. So I had to leave it plugged in and then of course rushed out the door without it.

I am I wrong in thinking that when I plug in my iPhone it should charge?
Why do Apple think I pugged the fucking thing in in the first place.

:person_shrugging: :person_shrugging: :person_shrugging:

I normally charge it in the morning

You can turn that off in settings

You have revealed to us that 7am is an early start for you. Your phone knows it too

The ‘smart’ charging makes assumptions based on your habits. As posted already you can switch this off but it should be an opt in for option- granted

Stay off TFK today and you might scrape through.

Yea, I never knew it was on. Thanks.
I suppose I’d need to remember to turn it on and off when needed as the battery is wearing down a bit.

I was lost yesterday, literally, without it.

So I borrowed the wife’s phone and turned on ‘Maps’.
For some reason maps was working but it wasn’t showing the ‘blue dot’, our location.
I hadn’t time to try figure that out either.

So, went old style and asked somebody for directions.
She looked a bit shocked

I see TUSLA were IMO too quick in washing their hands of another child murder

A man suspected of murdering his 12-year-old son in their Dublin home before taking his own life elsewhere had previously been accused of threatening to kill the boy.

Tusla has confirmed that OisĂn was known to the child and family agency. He and his father had been reported missing last October, but were located two days later.

Tusla has confirmed that OisĂn and his family were known to the agency, but that he was not in the care of the State.

What in the actual fuck?

I know lads jump on Tusla for this stuff, and there are obviously fuck ups but if a dad decides to kill his kid there is very little anyone can do about it i think. Its just of those incredibly sad fucked up things
