This is Moineir on the Condell Road in Limerick. It’s a new social housing estate on the north side of Limerick. It’s mostly occupied by single mothers who have been on the HAP housing list. Make out of this what you will.
The second phase was to be opened soon but those waiting have been told that the houses they have been promised will now be given exclusively to Ukrainians. Now I haven’t been able to get written proof of this on the bold internet but it’s the story going around Limerick Northside at the moment anyway.
Cycled past that development recently. Some amount of houses jammed in there and opposite side of the road.
I’d hold fire on the foreigners angle until formally confirmed.
Would there be a flood risk there or is it back far enough from the Shannon?

It’s a bit higher there, on a bit of height but still couldn’t be entirely confident it wouldn’t flood particularly the other side of the road
